About my sons death
My X husband had my son during the week in the summer time & I had him during the weekend & then during school time I had him during the week & he had him on the weekend. We had been divorced for about almost 2 years. He was living with a girl friend in Grants Pass Oregon & she got a hold of me on August 16th a Wendesday & told me that Dan had took Zach & she was upset & did not know what to do or where he could have gone. He did leave a sucide note. I went out driving that night like any mom would do looking for him (like I would find them) & the next eve. I got a call from the state police office & they told me to come in & talk with them, thats when they told me they were found dead. Some hikers found them in the moutains, Blue Cannyon Trail Head. I was of course as you could figure in shock & very upset, screaming & crying & telling them they should have done more to find him. The whole first year I was like in a fog & could not believe it I still can't believe it & still am in shock some days. Doing this web site & having griefsupport.proboards.com to go to has been a real help. Thank you all for visiting the site and keep coming back as I am still working on the site daily & adding more to it. Thanks for the prayers & support from all. God bless you all !!!
